Avocado Festival

Fallbrook’s Annual Avocado Festival on Main Avenue.
We invite members to bring their special automobiles to display. Please contact Steve Shapiro at sshap@sbcglobal.net, include your name and what automobile you will be bringing. There will be plenty of shade, cold water and great conversation for all.
This Sunday, the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club will take over the corner of Main and Fig Streets at Village Smog, showing off some of our beautiful cars, selling club merchandise and extending a welcome to thousands of visitors that pass through our display. We will begin setting up for the festival at 7:30 am, everyone is welcome to come and help setup even if you do not bring a car.
Automobiles must be in place by 7:30 am and need to remain on site until about 4:30. Members will be free to visit the festival and/or leave the area as long as they return by 4:00. The following folks have said they will bring a car: Michael McGuire, Darrin Putt, Terry Decker, Fred Weisberger, Ron Mintle, Bill Muno, Mike Socha, Cory Eastman, Keene Brewer, Jim Brown, Richard Root, John Waugh, Gregg Newberry, Jim Andrews, Tom Shea, Jim Wayman, Gary Hesser.
We will also need around 10 people to help with take down around 4 – 4:30 pm
Everybody loves a good donut in the morning…I need a volunteer(s) to bring donuts Sunday morning. Kathy will supply the coffee.

help for a couple of hours in the morning or afternoon.
The proceeds from both the Avocado Festival and the Car Show go back to the community to support non-profits like youth sports, area beautification and other community-based programs.
This is an important event for the club and a great chance for all to be involved!
