The Poster
The DEL REY AVOCADO COMPANY has been in business in Fallbrook since 1969. Current owners Bob Lucy, Bob Siemer and Reuben Hofshi acquired the business in 1988 and have built the business to where they hold over an 8.5 percent market share of the California Avocado Industry. Depending on the time of the year, up to 65 employees are kept busy grading and packaging over one million cartons of avocados per year with annual gross sales over 50 million dollars.
The company is very active in community affairs and very generous in their contributions to local organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, Fallbrook Football Boosters, the Duke Snider Home Run Derby, the Fallbrook Land Conservancy, the Child Development Center and the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club
to name but a few.
We salute the DEL REY AVOCADO COMPANY for their active role in support of community activities and we are proud to have Del Rey as the theme for our 2006 Poster.
